The Wayback Machine

Browsing the net today... I stumbled onto a great site I'd forgotten about. It's called The Wayback Machine, and since I stopped by there last, they've given it its own domain name: archive.org.

Basically, the Wayback Machine stores web archives.

Do a search there - for Jalpuna.com, for example, and you can see what Jalpuna looked like on March 17th, 2004. (pretty crappy - I was just getting started) The site was looking much better by September 25th.

Or how about CNN on 9/11/2001.

Here's a fun one: Apple, on October 22nd, 1996:

Damn, I need to get me one of those!
